After 11 years of (very) occasional tea making* road.cc editor Tony Farrelly is kicking himself upstairs to take on a more chin strokey strategic role and we’re looking for his replacement to lead our multi-award winning website and its multi-award winning team on to even greater glory.

If you think that could be you, you’ll find full details of the job and how to apply here, but the gist is that you’ll need plenty of drive and energy, good leadership and people managing skills, and for the ideal candidate this should be their dream job.

You don’t need to be a cycling journalist, but you do need to love cycling. You also do need to be a  journalist ideally with an online track record with all that that entails in terms of knowing your stuff on SEO, social media and user engagement etc, etc. At least a passing knowledge of the operation of kettle and tea bag would be useful too, though willingness to make the odd brew will count for more – making a great website every day  is a team game after all.

The role is based in Bath – so if you are a cycling journalist you’re probably pretty close by already. And If you’re not, it’s a very nice place to live.

You can apply either via the ad linked to above or directly by emailing recruitment [at] f-at.co.uk with a covering letter and a copy of your CV

*Okay, he did other stuff too.
