Zac Efron says that he almost went under a bus while cycling through London with Hugh Jackman. Digital Spy reports that you’ll be able to hear Efron’s account of the incident during the pair’s appearance on the New Year’s Eve edition of The Graham Norton Show.
We probably shouldn’t take the anecdote at face value, but at the very least it sounds like Jackman and Efron braved the morning rush hour by bike.
If you’re one of the capital’s cycle commuters, perhaps you can take to the comments sections to give us some idea of the likelihood of there then being a near-death experience for one of the two of them.
"I cycled with [Jackman] in London but I'm not one to ride a bike early in the morning in traffic so it turned out to be quite dangerous,” said Efron. “I followed Hugh around a few cars and suddenly there was a double decker bus right in front of me. I slammed on the brakes, went under the front tyre and narrowly missed death.”
Jackman’s response to this?
“Hugh was on the other side of the road and stuck up his thumb and just said, 'You good? Let's go.'"
